Field Trip Details

Join us for a tour of the Orange County Superior Court (Central Justice Center), and a glimpse into the various careers within the court system. Our students will have the opportunity to sit in on a real court hearing as well, circumstances permitting!

This field trip is open to students in grades 4-12 and limited to one parent per family due to the capacity of the courtroom. No non-student siblings or students below 4th grade may attend, as the court restricts this field trip to grades 4 and above.

This field trip will take place at the Orange County Superior Court Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.

Cost

Refundable* Deposit:  We've had a significantly high number of last-minute cancellations and no-shows for our free field trips, which is a disservice to the field trip locations and volunteer docents that dedicate their time to serving our students. Out of respect for the court docent's and staff's time and efforts, we are requiring a refundable deposit for each family in order to register for this field trip.

*After the field trip, the deposit will be refunded to all families that attend the field trip. For those that need to cancel after registering, the deposit can be refunded up until two weeks prior to the field trip, when our final numbers will be submitted to the court. For cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the field trip, deposits will not be refunded.

Registration

Registration for this field trip will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 4. Spots are filled on a first come first served basis, and families who are registered after all spots are filled will be placed on a waitlist.

Registration closes on November 12, or when all spots are filled, whichever comes first. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds within for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the field trip.
